Thor! The Almighty Eye-Catcher of the Season!

Thor (2011)

Thor (2011)

From the realms of Asgard and Jotunheim comes one of the greatest films this early 2011. The movie was a bang and man the visuals were so good. The action just seemed to never die and be throughout the movie! You won’t even notice the two hours passing by in the cinemas. Sure the movie really just stuck to the main plot, but one of the advantages of doing so is that everything goes smoothly and you just really get absorbed into the story. The movie just have to have the rating of 4.75/5.

The Galaxy Tab for Students & Multi-Taskers

30 Apr

The Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 was released last year, and for certain reasons, I managed to buy one about two weeks ago. Before I wouldn’t even consider buying it, mostly because of the price and the battery life really, but now that I’m using it, I love it. And I believe that it is something that students and readers alike would really enjoy.

I find myself often needing to use a timer to set a limit for the tasks I do, mostly because I tend to stray from what I’m doing and I tend to do so when I’m in a tight schedule. So I searched for online timers and found E.gg Timer. This ingenious timer suited my needs in every way because it is so simple and easy to use. I can even access it anywhere there’s an internet connection. Running on flash and javascript, it has a relatively small page size making it load fast enough even with my sometimes sluggish internet connection. I could say that this is the best online timer there is for me.

Walking 5k in Pasay City and Makati City

14 Apr

I was looking around WordPress when I saw this article: Automattic’s Worldwide WP 5k. I read it and got interested, so I marked it on my calendar and bought a pedometer for only 88 pesos at Japan Home Center the week before that. I searched around the net for a route-making site like the other countries have but unfortunately there’s none for the Philippines. So with that said, I improvised with Google Maps.
